I completely agree with you that the value of an author’s signature is the bond that it creates with her reader. As everything goes digital it would be easy for people to stop connecting with each other and one of my hopes for Kindlegraph is to preserve that contact.

Like Leah, I came here from Google+. The use of circles is an improvement over facebook. I can see having a circle of favourite authors called Author Updates – or something like that. I joined Google+ yesterday, so I am still getting my head around it.

So the more I think on it, I think the new Google+ may win out over Twitter for that type of announcement. (I may follow your blog on my google reader but I may not see your announcement, and FB…well, I’m not a fan of Facebook) But that’s just me ;)
